OMC has highly trained staff with extensive experience of supporting its clients from initial consultation, through tender design, development of working drawings and onto installation, commissioning, hand over and beyond. All teams are led by team leaders who have had full OMC in-house troubleshooting training and above them there will be a full time project engineer who will have worked up the actual working drawings along with the design engineer who will be on hand to support project teams with any technical issues that they may face on site.
Overseeing all of this will be The Project Manager who will be a constant point of contact for the Client and who will ensure the smooth running of the works and who will make sure that all technical troubleshooting processes are in place and that these are followed.
Consultancy
Consultation with the developer and electrical consultant in order to design a system that best suits the client’s functional specification, aesthetic preferences and budget.
Design
We offer full assistance to the electrical consultant and MEP contractor with the preparation of system schematics, full functional performance specifications and working shop/implementation drawings.
Project Management
OMC project managers will coordinate delivery, installation and commissioning of materials and services into the build program.
Quality Assurance
OMC regards Quality Assurance (QA) as not just as an essential component of the work that it carries out but as the single most important aspect of delivering an installation on time and on budget and to the clients highest level of satisfaction. Certainly it is OMC’s experience that time and effort spent in the early phases of an installation can save on costs, accelerate installation phases and result in better performing end systems. As such OMC has invested many years in developing its QA procedures for each phase of an installation as well as for job performance and adherence to program.
Site Supervision & Cable Management
OMC site engineers will inspect and review OMC’s technician’s works on site, including supervision of the all smart home cabling, and resolve any technical issues. OMC’s site engineers will act as a point of reference on site for any technical enquiries and will report to the head contractor, MEP ELV project manager and OMC project manager on quality standards and compliance with the design and specifications.
Installation & Commissioning
OMC technicians will install, program and commission the system.
Acceptance testing
OMC will perform site acceptance testing and system sign off with the head contractor and the clients representatives on site.
Maintenance
OMC offer full service and maintenance contracts for our installations.
After Sales Service and Upgrades
A fully qualified OMC consultant can meet with the new owners of completed villas and apartments on handover and walk them through their new systems features and capabilities. They can discuss further integration with the clients existing or new Audio Visual Components and can arrange for further individual customisation of their automation systems should they so require
